Dani de Morón is one of the leading flamenco guitarists of recent decades.

He began playing guitar in the flamenco town of Morón de la Frontera, Seville, where Diego del Gastor established a strong guitar tradition. Forged in accompanying dance at the academy of Triana-born teacher Matilde Coral and accompanying singing alongside the most important singers and dancers of the current flamenco scene.

His Consolidation as a Guitarist

Constant in his evolution as an artist are his curiosity, encounters, and cross-pollination with other sounds and instruments from music beyond Flamenco, with his connection to jazz being particularly noteworthy.
Original compositions
His discography includes the albums Cambio de sentido (2012), El sonido de mi libertad (2015), 21 (2018), and the most recent Creer para ver, premiered live at the Seville Flamenco Biennial 2020.
In 2022, he presented Carte Blanche at the Nîmes Festival, a solo concert format. And in September 2022, he had a significant presence at the Seville Flamenco Biennial, with various top-level collaborations and his own project presented live.
In 2024, he will release two projects: his new album Empatía; and the Life Sketching project.
